    Neither brick nor rust: a pinkish earth, slightly powdery, that flatters complexions and goes with brown, khaki, cream and black.
  • The damask design
    Broad floral scrolls unfurl across the whole jacket, as on an antique fabric. The tone-on-tone pattern adds depth without adding contrast.
  • Weightless warmth
    The quilting stays fine. The jacket warms the torso and arms and can happily be kept on indoors, which isn't the case with a coat.
  • Clean stand collar
    The collar stands upright and frames the face. Open over an ecru top, it draws a very flattering V.
  • A dark trim
    The dark piping follows every edge and gives the whole thing structure. It's this line that stops an antique pattern from looking dated.
